From Quebec city, André Clouthier lives in Ottawa since 1976 where he studied in Communication at Saint-Paul Univesity and in Political Sciences and Spanish studies at University of Ottawa.
In 1981, he wrote a serie on " La Défense nationale du Canada " for " La Société Radio-Canada " and started to teach French as second language.

In 1984, he started his photojournalism/freelance with the visit of Pope John-Paul II in Canada. Since, André-Nicolas Clouthier is doing coverage of Head of States and Gorverments and Mediatic events who mark the world history.
