Le Canada a consacre l’an 2000, au pied du monument commemoratif de Guerre, le tombeau du soldat inconnu Canadien, ou repose desormais le soldat Inconnu enterre a Vimy, en France. Ses restes ont ete rapatries et exposes en chapelle ardente sur la colline du parlement avant d’atteindre leur lieu de repos definitif.

Canada consacreted its tomb of the unknown soldier of the national war memorial. It contains the remains of a Canadian first world war soldier who was interred nameless in the soil at Vimy, France. His remains returned to Canada and lied in state on parliament hill before reaching their final resting place of honour
